Anurag Bajpai distributes high-end machines to Mini-TRIFOOD units in CCpur

CCpur, September 24 2025: Celebrating Nation First @ 75 campaign at Churachandpur district, the PCCF & HoFF and Addl Chief Secretary (TCI), Anurag Bajpai handed over machinery and equipment to beneficiaries of Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) covered under the "Mini-TRIFOOD Units Scheme" .

The initiative, aimed at strengthening tribal livelihoods through value addition and entrepreneurship, was held today at the Churachandpur Forest Division Office.

Machines & equipment worth over Rs 9.70 lakh, including can sealers, induction sealer, pulper, juicer, band sealer, vacuum machine, spice pulverizer, deep freezers, steel pulverizer, MS pulverizer, and GenSet, were distributed to SHG members belonging to Mini Trifood units in CCpur and Henglep as well as Singnat, Kapaih, and other VDVKs.

Addressing the gathering, Anurag Bajpai laid emphasis on empowering SHG members through skill development in food processing and value addition, highlighting the role of such initiatives in improving income generation, self-reliance, and sustainable livelihoods for the tribal communities of Churachandpur.

He noted that these machines would boost production capacity, quality and enhance competitiveness of tribal products in wider markets.

Saying that the initiative would benefit over 1200 tribal members and their families, he encouraged them to use the facilities at the Industribal Estate in Churachandpur to maximise the impact of the equipment and develop entrepreneurship into viable industries.

He further added that the Government is committed to raise the income level of micro and small level food processing units and would extend all kinds of support.
