Smart Universal Academy felicitates meritorious students

Imphal, January 24 2026: A prize distribution ceremony to felicitate meritorious students of Smart Universal Academy, Kakching, was held today at the school campus.

The programme was organised by the School Management Committee.

The ceremony was attended by School chairman, K Manglem; secretary K Kiran and principal of the school, K Dhananjoy as preisidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, chairman K Manglem stressed that nurturing and training good students is essential for building a healthy society.

He said that while teachers play a vital role, parents and guardians also bear a major responsibility in shaping students' character and academic growth.

He appealed to parents and guardians to extend their cooperation whenever the school authorities take initiatives aimed at improving the overall development of students.

The prizes distributed at the ceremony were donated by the Kongkham Jemon Singh Foundation, established in memory of K Manglem's late father under the Healthy Environment Mission.

Meritorious students from Class IV to IX were awarded bicycles, while students from nursery to Class III received cash prizes of Rs 1,500 each, encouraging academic excellence and motivating young learners to perform better in their studies.
