The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), in coordination with the Government of Manipur, held an interaction programme to effectively implement the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) and the Employees' Enrolment Campaign, 2025 (EEC-2025).The programme, held at the Mini Conference Hall, Headquarters, Forest Department, Sanjenthong, Imphal, aimed to strengthen coordination between the EPFO and the State Government to ensure smooth and effective implementation of the schemes.
As per a release issued by Angom Surendra Singh, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, EPFO, Special State Office, Imphal, detailed deliberations were held on operational aspects, eligibility criteria, and the role of various State Government departments in facilitating outreach and implementation of PMVBRY and EEC-2025.The EPFO team, led by Shishir Kant Jha, Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner, and Gaurav Srivastava, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-1, highlighted the key features and objectives of the schemes, along with their expected outcomes in terms of employment generation, formalization of the workforce, and enhanced social security coverage.
Senior State Government officers, led by Anurag Bajpai, Additional Chief Secretary (Trade, Commerce and Industries); N Bandana Devi, Secretary (SLEE); and Hanah Kamei, Director (Industries), actively participated in the discussions and shared valuable inputs and suggestions for maximizing the benefits of the schemes in Manipur.
The programme emphasized the importance of close collaboration, awareness generation, and regular monitoring to ensure the benefits reach eligible employers and employees in a timely manner.
Both EPFO and the Government of Manipur committed to continued cooperation for the successful implementation of PMVBRY and EEC-2025 in the State.
