Imphal, September 18 2025: A combined team of security forces recovered arms and ammunition from two locations in Kangpokpi district today.

In the first operation, based on credible intelligence, a combined team of Kangpokpi police, CRPF and Assam Rifle conducted a search operation at Gamdai near S Mongoi village under New Keithelmanbi police station and recovered arms and ammunition three bolt action rifles, three 9mm pistols with three empty magazines, four 12 bore live cartridges with a belt, five 12 bore empty cartridges, one wireless set and two bulletproof plate.

A similar search operation was also conducted at Aigejang Village and recovered four bolt action rifles, two 9mm pistols with empty magazines and five 12 bore empty cartridges.

The items recovered from the two locations have been handed over to New Keithelmanbi police station.
