Imphal, April 16 2026: To commemorate World Voice Day, Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd conducted a Free Voice Screening Camp today at its Langol facility.

As per a release issued by Shija Hospitals, the initiative aimed to raise community awareness regarding vocal health and the importance of early detection in managing voice-related disorders.

A total of 120 individuals participated in the screening.

Consultations were led by Dr Rajlakshmi Kh, Consultant ENT Surgeon, supported by the specialized team from the Shija Voice and Swallowing Clinic.

The event also saw participation from about 22 faculty members and students from the Manipur University of Culture.

Dr RK Satyaditya, a faculty member at the Manipur University of Culture, praised the initiative and encouraged vocalists, singers, lecturers, and other professionals who rely heavily on their voices to prioritize regular vocal assessments and seek expert medical guidance.

Renowned Manipuri singer Arbin Soibam also attended the camp, expressing his appreciation for the clinical guidance and counseling provided to the participants.

The camp reflected Shija Hospitals' ongoing commitment to advancing community health and providing specialized care for vocal wellness in the region.
