Virtual participation, awareness programme mark Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025

Kakching/Bishnupur, October 13 2025:
Mother's Pride Academy, Kwasiphai virtually joined India's largest school hackathon, 'Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025' at their school premises today.
105 teams of students along with teachers took part in today's virtual event with the goal to complete 108 projects.
It is worth noting that the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 is a nationwide innovation movement being organised by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education, in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog.
The school hackathon aims to strengthen the culture of innovation at the school level by encouraging students to ideate or build prototypes on four themes, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local and Samriddh Bharat and it will provide hands-on, experiential learning in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.The event was attended by Oinam Muhindro, Science Unit, VMO, Department of Education (S) as the chief guest.
On the occasion, Principal Kh Basanta expressed happiness that Mother's Pride Academy was selected as one of the schools to receive ''Inclusive Spotlight" as part of the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025 .
Saying that students will be taught about various topics during the technical session, he added that they can submit their projects by October 31 .
Meanwhile, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Kakching organised an awareness programme on "Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025" at Kakching Model High School and Kakching Higher Secondary School, Kakching district, as a part of the National initiative.
