Imphal, February 12: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) conferred the National Award to 25 Best Performing Farmers' Clubs from all over the country with the prize distribution ceremony held on Feb 8 at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi.

The function was president by the Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram, said a NABARD release issued today while informing that United Farmers' Club, Khumbong was among the 25 award winning Clubs.

Coordinator of the Khumbong Club Elam Jayanta Singh received the Award from the Union Minister.
