Imphal, May 10 2025: A Special Commando Unit, Khabeisoi arrested an active member of PREPAK (Pro) during a routine frisking near Chingarel Tejpur under Lamlai Police Station in Imphal East this morning.

According to a well placed source, the commandos detained a suspicious individual near Chingareal Tejpur, later identified as Ingudam Ingocha Singh @ Borobi (48), s/o late Megho Singh of Seijang Makha Leikai.

Upon questioning, he admitted to being an active member of PREPAK (Pro), having joined in 2021 under commander Malem Nungoi, and working in the organization's division covering Seijang, Lamlai, and Y aingangpokpi areas.

He also admitted to transporting and delivering logistics, arms, ammunition, and food items for the outfit, according to the source.

The arrested person has been handed over to Lamlai Police Station.
