ABVP Manipur celebrates, 77th foundation day

On the occasion of the 77th foundation day of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and National Students Day, ABVP Manipur organized a grand programme titled "Dhyeya Yatra - A Journey Towards National Reconstruction" at JNMDA, Imphal.
Today's event witnessed the attendance of Kamlesh Singh, National Secretary of ABVP as the chief guest; Professor W Chanbabu Singh, Vice Chancellor of Dhanamanjuri University as the guest of honour.
According to a press release, other attendees included Kh Rajen Singh, Kshetra Karyawaha of Assam Kshetra; Gautam Philem; State Secretary of ABVP Manipur and L Kamei, State vice president.
In his address, Kamlesh Singh shared the journey of ABVP from its humble beginnings in 1949 to becoming the largest student organization in the country, fie encouraged students to contribute actively to national development.
Professor W Chanbabu Singh appreciated the efforts of ABVP in shaping student leadership and promoting academic values.
He expressed his admiration for ABVP's commitment to nation-building and student welfare.
Meanwhile, Kh Rajen Singh spoke about "Panch Pariwartan", the five key areas of transformation that ABVP is focusing on to bring positive change in society - education, youth, culture, environment, and social harmony.
Additionally, Gautam Philem highlighted the significance of ABVP's foundation day, reminding the gathering of their core values - knowledge, character and unity.
He urged the youth of Manipur to be torchbearers of positive change in the State.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by L Kamei.
The event was marked by cultural performances, student speeches, and a pledge to work together for a stronger and united India.
