Imphal, February 06 2026: Agocons Agrotech Industries Pvt Ltd has officially launched "Nongin Pig Feed", the first locally-produced pig feed in Manipur, under its Sangai Feed brand.

The launch event, held at the company's complex in Khaidem Mayai Leikai, was attended by notable individuals, including Phurailatpam Ranjit Sharma, Director (Extension), Central Agricultural University, Imphal; Tourangbam Kunje, Managing Director, Agocons Agrotech Industries Pvt Ltd; Aditya Kumar, former Head, Department of Zoology, DM College of Science; Kharibam Somorendro, former Director, ICM, Imphal; and rewnowned actor Gurumayum Bonny Sharma.

The Nongin Pig Feed is designed to suit Manipur's climatic conditions and local pig breeds, offering higher protein, energy, and nutritional value compared to imported feeds.

Three varieties are available: Sangai Nongin Starter, Sangai Nongin Prime, and Sangai Nongin Gainer.

The company also introduced an affordable poultry feed called "Sangai Super Classic", suitable for broilers, layers, quails, and ducks.

Sangai Layer Feed and Broiler Feed for chickens were also introduced.

These products aim to benefit local farmers and promote sustainable pig farming practices in Manipur.

The Sangai Pig Feed will be available through the company's dealers across Manipur starting tomorrow.
