Imphal, May 04 2026: Officials from the Planning Department delivered a presentation on the CM Women Economic Empowerment Scheme before Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand today at the CM's Secretariat.

The scheme is poised to significantly strengthen women's participation in the public sphere and enable them to contribute meaningfully to the State's growth and prosperity, said the Chief Minister in a Facebook post.

The scheme has reaffirmed the Government's commitment to advancing the welfare, dignity, and agency of women in Manipur.

Yumnam Khemchand further asserted that by investing in the capabilities and aspirations of the womenfolk, the Government is laying the groundwork for inclusive progress and sustainable development.
