ERO monitors SIR activities

The Electoral Roll Observer for Bishnupur district has made her second visit to the district today to monitor the progress of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) activities in the district, particularly the disposal of claims and objections/notice phase in the district.
To ensure the procedure is conducted with the utmost transparency and strict adherence to the directives of the Election Commission of India, the Electoral Roll Observer personally monitored the progress of these activities and interacted with key stakeholders, more particularly the representatives of all recognized national/state political parties functioning in the district, including Booth Level Agents (BLAs), representatives of sitting MLAs of the district and representative of the sitting MP of 1-IMPC, Manipur to address their concerns and maintain procedural integrity, said a press note by the District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur.
During the meeting, the Electoral Roll Observer thanked all stakeholders for the successful completion of the disposal of claims and objections/notice phase in the district.
She congratulated the District Election Officer/DC, Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, Booth Level Officer (BLO) Supervisors, BLOs and all election officials of the district for the remarkable success in carrying out the revision exercise with utmost efficiency and dedication.
Further, she extended her special thanks to all the BLAs for their timely support/coordination with BLOs during the revision exercise.
The District Election Officer/DC requested all stakeholders to continue extending their support in all future endeavors in the district as per the directions from the Election Commission of India, added the press note.
