Results of painting competition declared

Imphal, May 02 2025: The results of the District Level Painting Competition under National Programme for Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD) organized by District Health Society, Thoubal held on May 1, 2025 have been announced.

The painting competition which was participated by 186 students was organised on the theme "Changing Mindsets: Empower yourself to make ear and hearing care a reality for all".

In Category I (Class V-VIII), Hijam Preety Devi of Bright Foundation Thoubal bagged the 1 st position, Hemshri Lisam of Ruda Academy bagged 2nd position, Sanasam Tomthin Mangang of Nawa Sindam Sang, Thoubal bagged the 3rd position while Thokchom Chanchan Chanu of Eastern Star Hr Sec School and Lanchenbi Okram of Evergreen Flowers' School, Ningombam bagged the consolation prize.

In Category II (Class IX-XII), Aditi Thingujam and Raina Wakongthem of Evergreen Flowers' School Ningombam bagged the 1st and 2nd position respectively, Kshetrimayum Ishita Devi of Ruda Academy, Thoubal bagged the 3rd position while Sushila Puyam of Evergreen Flowers' School Ningombam and Andriva Thoudam of Ruda Academy bagged the consolation prize.

Meanwhile, Khumanthem Tomthin Singh of Heirok Heitupokpi Upper Primary School, Heirok was declared the winner for Special Category.
