Study materials distributed to Remedial Coaching students in Tamenglong

Under the funding of the Department of Minority Affairs, Government of Manipur, and with MOBEDS as the implementing agency, study materials were distributed to students enrolled under the Remedial Coaching Programme launched as part of the Chief Minister's Lairik Heiminashi Program at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Tamenglong.
The distribution programme, held at Don Bosco Hr Sec School, provided a variety of materials including school bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and geometrical items to pre-matric students of Class VIII to X .
Speaking at the occasion, Minority Affairs Joint Secretary and MOBEDS Project Director, Gangmei Ganguiliu, said the six-month Remedial Coaching Programme aims to support needy students from hill areas who cannot afford private tuition.
She added that the initiative will also be introduced in Science, Arts and Commerce streams for students of Class XI and XII .
benefitting them significantly.
She further announced that for students of Classes VIII to X, Social Science subjects will be introduced under the Remedial Coaching initiative.
Ganguiliu urged students to make the best use of the initiative and work towards academic success.
The event was also attended by ADM Chunglenmang Kipgen; principal of Don Bosco Hr Sec School, Rev Athili Martin; MOBEDS Asst Project Officer and Scheme Officer Md Alam Azad; Jt Director of Minority Affairs Md Salauddin Khan; SDPO Tamenglong Riyazuddin Shah; and EE of MOBEDS Md Yunush.
