ATMA organises medical camp

Ukhrul, October 18 2018:
All Tangkhul Medicos Association (ATMA) concluded its two days medical camp at Shakok village, Phungyar Ukhrul.
The ATMA team installed Ultrasound machine, and conducted various health screenings of HIV, HBV, HCV, blood & sugar test etc.
Locals of 5 neighbouring villages of Shakok were given free medical examination and free consultation in the health camp.
According to president ATMA Dr K Soreingam, the Association had earlier held a mega health camp at Leishiphung Hospital, Ukhrul in August and provided various services and screenings.
ATMA is a non profit organization of Tangkhul doctors and will continue to render its services for free to the needy people in far flung areas who have little or no access to basic health facilities.
The members of the organisation contribute money to hold such camps, he said.
Over 25 doctors including specialists presently working in different hospitals including JNIMS and RIMS rendered their services at the two days health camp.
