Imphal, July 28 2026:
Tampakleima Children's Hospital organised a free children's medical camp at its premises in Singjamei on July 26 to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Dr Ksh Chourajit Singh.
The initiative aimed to honor Dr Chourajit's lifelong dedication to accessible, compassionate healthcare and to reinforce the hospital's commitment to community welfare.
Altogether, 170 patients, including 120 children and 50 adults attended the camp.
The camp was led by Dr Chingthang Ksh, Consultant Pediatrician and son of the late Dr Chourajit Singh.
Children attending the camp received free OPD consultations, medicines and growth assessments, while both children and adults were offered a 50 per cent discount on general blood tests.
Adults also availed themselves of free blood pressure and blood glucose check-ups.
Dr Chingthang said the camp was aimed not only at honouring his father's memory but also at ensuring that quality healthcare remains accessible to families, particularly children.
He noted that the overwhelming response highlights the community's deep trust in the hospital's specialized pediatric care.
The event concluded with a pledge by the hospital administration to host similar community outreach initiatives in the future under their guiding principle: "Healthy Children, Healthy Future, Stronger Community" .
