Imphal, October 27 2025: The All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) and the Editors' Guild Manipur (EGM) have mourned the demise of Chirom Jadumani Singh, news anchor of SKTV.

Bom on October 5, 1975, Jadumani was a resident of Lamdeng Khunou, Lamsang Bazar AMWJU and EGM, in a statement, stated that Jadumani was known for his calm, composed and ever smiling personality, praying for the departed soul to rest in peace.

He began his media journey with ISTV and later worked for two years at ISCOM.

Jadumani had been serving as a new anchor at SKTV since its establishment and until his passing today.

The media fraternity remembers him as a sincere and dedicated journalist who contributed immensely to news broadcasting and inspired many young anchors with his professionalism and humility, AMWJU and EGM said and conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.
