IEDVDFWA extends financial aid

Imphal, July 22 2024: The Imphal East District VDF Welfare Association (IEDVDFWA) has extended financial assistance ofRs 2 lakh each to the family of recently deceased VDF personnel L Jenisker Meitei and VDF personnel Chongtham Ranjan Singh.

The financial aid was handed over by a team led by Reserve Inspector Kh Bobocha Singh and members of IEDVDFWA under the guidance of K Meghachandra Singh, Superintendent of Police, Imphal East, said a release issued by IEDVDFWA.

L Jenisker Meitei of Wangkhei Hijam Leirak was posted at Reserve Line while Ch Ranjan Singh of Potshangbam Khunou was stationed at Water Amusement Park under Reserve Line/IE.

They passed away on July 22, 2024 .
