DEA fund awareness camps to be held in Noney and Kamjong on Nov 21

In a major initiative to help citizens access their rightful financial dues, district-level camps on the Depositor Education and Awareness Fund (DEA Fund) will be organised in Noney and Kamjong districts on November 21, 2025 .
The programme is being conducted under the guidelines of the Department of Financial Services, Government of India, as part of the nationwide "Your Money, Your Rights" public awareness campaign.
According to SLBC Manipur, the special camp will be held at Community Hall, Rangkhung-I village, Noney district, and at Kamjong Katamnao Long Hall, Kamjong district on November 21 .
The camp will function from 10 am to 6 pm, under the direct supervision of the District Collector and the Lead District Manager.
These awareness camps are being organised under the leadership of the District Collector and guided by the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), Manipur, by the lead bank of each district.
The program will witness participation from all banks, insurance companies, pension departments, SEBI, and the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) .
The camps will provide assistance to citizens in claiming a range of unclaimed financial assets, including bank deposits, insurance claims, dividends, shares, and mutual funds.
Beneficiaries will also receive support in completing KYC requirements, filling out claim forms, and document verification, as required.
In this regard, the Lead District Manager of Punjab National Bank, Noney, has appealed to residents of Noney and Kamjong to participate in large numbers and take full advantage of this public welfare programme.
Under this campaign, similar camps will be conducted across all districts of Manipur in a phased manner until December 31, 2025 .
