JCRE marks foundation day with community, environmental initiatives

JCRE Skill Solutions, a prominent skill development organisation in Northeast India, commemorated its 12th Foundation Day with a series of meaningful activities aimed at community engagement and environmental awareness.
On May 17, a cleaning drive was organised at the Thangmeiband area, where the Head Office of JCRE is located.
The initiative was followed by tree plantation drives at Thangmeiband Cheiraoching and THAU Ground, reinforcing the organisation's commitment to sustainability.
Continuing the celebration, a State-level painting competition on the theme "My Planet, My Responsibility" was held on May 18 .
Students from across the State participated enthusiastically in three categories: A (Classes 3-5), B (Classes 6-8), and C (Classes 9-12), showcasing their creativity and environmental consciousness.
Over the past 12 years, JCRE has trained more than 65,000 individuals and facilitated employment for over 35,000, playing a key role in transforming lives across the Northeast through skill development and job placement.
Winners of the painting competition for category A in the order of merit are- Kh Joy Meitei (Wangkhei High School), S Purel Mangang (St George High School) and Kh Chandra Meitei (Wangkhei High School) .
Category B- Nongmaithem Koroungangba, Sanahen Oinam (Pitambara English School) and Leepun Ningthemcha (Maria Montessori School).
Category C- Seram Jairaj Meitei (Nongpok Maheikol), Korou Khuman (CC Higher Secondary School) and Oinam Rojibeya Devi (JNV Khumbong) .
