Inspiring achievers: MU Gold medallist & UPSC rankers feted

Imphal, March 18 2026: In a wave of pride for Manipur's youth, Sagolband AC MLA RK Imo Singh felicitated UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 achiever Ningthoujam Rishikant Singh (Rank 903) and Takhellambam Vedamani at his residence today.

Rishikant, from Sagolband AC and an alumnus of Delhi Public School, RK Puram shared his journey alongside Vedamani, who earned the Hidangmayum Goura Krishna Sharma Memorial Gold Medal and Governor's Gold Medal in MA Sociology from Manipur University.

The warm interaction highlighted dedication and perseverance as keys to success, with financial incentives presented as tokens of appreciation.

Meanwhile, Wahengbam Renudhar, a 2015 alumnus of Regular English High School, was honoured at a reception in the school campus in Heinoukhongnembi today for securing All-India Rank 652 in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 .

At the event, Renudhar shared his journey, stressing on disciplined revision and guidance to students from Class-8, onwards, having overcome early struggles with the "tough" UPSC exam.

Regular English High School's Headmaster, Soibam Phulendro Singh hailed the feat as inspiration for future nationbuilders, with Renudhar's father, the school's Managing Trustee, and Chairman in attendance.
