State celebrates 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign with patriotic fervour

In a powerful display of unity and patriotism, 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign was observed widely in the State today with fervour, featuring bike rallies, Tiranga marches and other activities.
Held as part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrations, the campaign aimed to encourage citizens to hoist the National flag at their homes and reaffirm their commitment to the Nation.
CBC
The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office, Imphal, organised a special outreach programme, "Har Ghar Tiranga", to promote National pride and unity by encouraging citizens to hoist the National flag at their homes.
Dr Engam Paine, Director of CBC and PIB Imphal, along with officers from CBC Regional Office, Imphal, and PIB Imphal, participated in the event, which aimed to foster patriotism and a sense of collective identity across the Nation.
National flags were distributed to all participants, accompanied by a brief session on the proper procedures for hoisting and handling the flag with dignity.
M Rustum Singh, Assistant Director, CBC Field Office, Chandel; H Deepakumar Sharma, Field Exhibition Officer, CBC Regional Office, Imphal; Pushpa Maibam, Media and Communication Officer, PIB Imphal; and Dr W Urmila, Field Publicity Officer, CBC Field Office, Senapati were also present at the event.
The programme featured a captivating performance by the Song and Drama Division, blending vocal and instrumental music in a harmonious tribute to the Nation.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and a commitment to promoting National unity and pride.
CRPF
The Dett-232 (M) Battalion, CRPF, organised a patriotic event titled "Har Ghar Tiranga Vehicle with Foot Rally" at Old Lambulane, Imphal today.
The event was conducted in the presence of all six companies of the Dett-232 (M) Battalion and was spearheaded by Dett Commander Th Debajani Devi, DC of 232 (M) Bn CRPF.
Key organisers included Company Commander Y Landhoni Devi, AC Oinam Riza Chanu, AC Aiswarya Joy M, Insp/GD (M) Shalini Kumari, Insp/GD (M) Savitamma, and Indp/GD (M) Hachumio Lotha.
A special programme was also held at the Cosmopolitan High School, Manipur, with the presence of headmistress Y Kamala Devi.
Also, as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, 69 Battalion CRPF, Mantripukhri, organised a series of events to encourage citizens to bring home and hoist the National Flag in commemoration of India's Independence.
Under the guidance of Rajendra Narayan, Inspector General, M & N Sector, a Tiranga Bike Rally was flagged off from the Headquarters of 69 Bn CRPF, Mantripukhri on August 12.The IG, leading the rally, was received by the Officers and personnel of the Battalion at the main gate prior to the commencement of the event.
Subsequently, a Tiranga Bike Rally led by Pem Makan, Second-in-Command, 69 Bn, Mantripukhri, was conducted on the same day, covering the route HQ 69 Bn-Khongnang Ani Karak Lamlong-Minuthong North AOC.
Additionally, a Tiranga Bike Rally culminating in a Flag Hoisting Ceremony was held at Sangai Higher Secondary School, Mantripukhri on August 13, where students were encouraged to uphold the dignity of the Tricolour and the values it represents.
National Flags were also distributed to members of the local community.
Similarly, 169 Battalion under the leadership of Suresh Kumar, Commandant, 169 Bn, celebrated Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 at Lamphel today.
Local residents and school students participated in the celebration with great enthusiasm.
Personnel of 169 Battalion distributed National flags and interacted with the public, sharing the historical and emotional significance of the Indian Tricolour.
Other officers of the unit including Md Yasser Abbasi, 2-I/C, Annamma.
DC and Anish Kumar Sinha, AC also actively participated in the event and encouraged public involvement Besides, 'Ahingee Laan', the 44th dance drama production of Production Unit Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy (JNMDA) .
was presented today the academy's auditorium today as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.
The event was graced by dignitaries, including Prof Hijam Tombi Singh, former Vice Chairman, JNMDA; Prof Longjam Joychandra Sing, Vice Chairman, JNMDA; and Sunanda Thokchom, Secretary, Manipur State Kala Akademi.
Similarly, 'Har Ghar Tiranga' rallies were also carried out today by BJP Patsoi Mandal and Sainik School Imphal at various places to spread the message of patriotism.
