Imphal, October 10 2025: The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) has informed all the Principals/Heads of the Institution under the Council that the ensuing Higher Secondary Practical Examination (Class-XII), 2026 will be conducted before the Theory Examination in the month of January, 2026 .

As per a release issued by COHSEM, institutions must submit the tentative time table/Programme along with the list of subject-wise internal examiners to the Council between November 10 and December 10, 2025 .

Institutions must collect the practical confidential papers three days ahead of the practical schedule from the Controller of Examinations of the Council.

The practical examination (after obtaining approval of COHSEM) will take place from January 2, 2026, and must be completed by January 31, 2026 .

After completion of the practical examination, the practical marks of the students duly filled by the Schools/Institutions in their respective Login credential and shall be uploaded to the Council's website, "https://cohsemmanipur.nic.in" between January 3 and February 2, 2026 .

The last date for uploading practical marks in the Council's website is February 3, 2026 .

The practical answer 'khattas' along with the hardcopies of the practical Marks Slips of the Higher Secondary Examination (Class XII), 2026 shall be submitted to the Controller of Examinations of the Council on or before February 5, 2026.Also, in case of subjects having less than 10 candidates in an institution, such candidates shall be attached to other Institution(s) to be arranged by the Council.
