Kakching, September 10 2026: The 36th blood donation camp cum awareness programme under the theme 'Blood dedicated to the martyrs' was held today at Naodam community hall in Kakching Makha Leikai.

More than 150 members of 13 units of Arambai Tenggol (AT) under Kakching district donated blood today.

The blood donation camp cum awareness programme was jointly organized by Arambai Tengol General Headquarters Medical team and 13 AT units under Kakching district in collaboration with Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine.

Speaking in connection with the camp, Kakching district Arambai Tengol public relations officer (PRO) Bobo Huidrom said that the blood donation camp has been organised with an aim to help in providing blood to the individuals in times of need.

Arambai Tengol General Headquarters Medical team Commander Boiboi Yaithembam while higlighting the importance of blood in one's life, said that the camp has been conducted as a part of Arambai Tengol's campaign of organising blood every month.

He went on to state that the camp aims to raise awareness among the youths about the importance of blood and voluntary blood donation camps as the donated blood will cater to the needs of various individuals.
