SFD leads environmental initiatives across Manipur

The Students for Development (SFD), a prominent environmental initiative under the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (AB VP), organised a series of impactful programs across various campuses and community locations in Manipur.
To create a more sustainable and eco-conscious society, SFD conducted several activities, including the SFD Talk, cleanliness drives, and a mega plantation campaign.

national convenor of SFD, these programs took place at multiple institutions and public spaces such as Manipur University, Central Agricultural University, Manipur Technical University, United College, Mangolnganbi College, Moirang College, Impetus School, Lamlong Higher Secondary School, Oinam Cricket Ground, Sendra, 8 MR Kakching, Tomjing Ching, and Thoubal.
A highlight of the campaign was the SFD Talk held at Manipur Technical University under the theme 'Be the Change, Break the Chain: Plastic & Water'.
The keynote speaker, Prof Lal Bihari Singha emphasized the urgent need to address plastic pollution, especially nano and microplastics, and water conservation.
He also encouraged students and participants to adopt eco-friendly habits and become proactive agents of environmental transformation.
