DEA Fund awareness camps on Dec 5

Under the guidelines of the Department of Financial Services, Government of India, district-level awareness and assistance camps on the Depositor Education and Awareness Fund (DEA Fund) are being organised across the state of Manipur as part of the "Your Money, Your Rights" public awareness campaign.
These camps will continue to be held in various districts until December 31, 2025.These camps will be organised under the leadership of the District Collectors and the guidance of the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), Manipur by the Lead Bank of each district.
The programme will see participation from all banks, insurance companies, pension departments, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF).
According to the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), Manipur, a special camp will be organised on December 5 at Lamka YMA Hall Churachandpur (Churachandpur district), Makhan Centre Community Hall (Senapati district), Keithelmanbi Community Hall (Kangpokpi district), Community Hall, Phungcham Village (Ukhrul district), Lois Auditorium (Kakching district), DC Office Chandel (Chandel district) and Tentha Laibung Community Hall, Tentha (Thoubal district) from 10 am till 6 pm.
In this camp, assistance counters will be available to help citizens claim their unclaimed deposits, unclaimed insurance claims, unclaimed dividends, unclaimed shares, and mutual funds.
Beneficiaries/claimants will also be assisted with KYC updates, filling out claim forms, and document verification, as required.
In this regard, the SLBC Manipur has appealed to all citizens of the districts to participate in large numbers and take advantage of this public welfare initiative of the Government of India.
