Imphal, March 01 2025:
Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) secretary Jitenlal Sharma has clarified that no unwanted incident happened at Wangjing high school centre of the ongoing HSLC examination-2025 conducted by the board on Friday.
Addressing media persons at BSEM office at Babupara on Saturday, Jitenlal said that a photo with same question serial numbers for home science (optional subject) of HSLC examination-2025 was uploaded on social media on Friday and went viral.
However, the photo was found uploaded on social media platform at about 2.40pm Friday, nearly three hours after the end of the examination for the day.
The photo was made to relate with Wangjing High School centre but it was not true as no such incident happened at the said centre.
Reports from officials of the centre including SO, OC, AOC and SI were also collected but there were no sign of unwanted incidents, and nobody lodge any complaint to the board, he said.
While asserting that the board has been working hard to conduct the examination in a free and fair manner, and without any unwanted incident, Jitenlal appealed to all concerned not to upload misleading post on social media which could create confusion among parents of students appearing the examination.
He also said that BSEM will initiate legal action against those who uploaded the misleading post on social media.
