NEIDP targets 10 LS seats

North East India Development Party (NEIDP), Manipur unit president Doukhomang Khongsai has stated that the party has been working to secure at least 10 Lok Sabha seats from the North East region in the next Parliamentary election.
He inaugurated one office of the party at Malom Bazar, Imphal West today.
Speaking at the inaugural function, Doukhomang Khongsai claimed that NEIDP which was set up by Salai Holdings Private Limited chairman and managing director in 2016 Narengbam Samarjit has become a formidable political party in the State.
The main objective of the party is establishment of 'self-rule' and peace in the State.
Maximum efforts are being invested to set up NEIDP branches in every State of the North East region with a view to transform it into a formidable regional party, Doukhomang said.
NEIDP district offices have been already opened at Churachandpur and Senapati and the party has already set a target of securing not less than 25 seats in the next Manipur Legislative Assembly election, he continued.
NEIDP vice-president O Malesh informed that they have been working to open party offices in all districts of the State so as to.
further strengthen the party.
The party set up under the initiative of the leadership of Salai and Smart societies have become a popular political party, Malesh claimed.
Coinciding with the inaugural function, LPG connections were given to 30 selected households residing within Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC in collaboration with Canchi Indane Gas Service.
