MSCW organises awareness programme on "Menopause and MentaI Health" in Kamjong

Imphal, January 24 2026:
A one-day awareness programme on "Meno Mind: Menopause and Mental Health Care" was organised on Friday at the Amazing Grace Mission School Meeting Hall, Wanglee Market, Kamjong district.
The programme was jointly organised by the Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) and Amazing Grace Mission School, Wanglee.
The programme aimed to create awareness about the physical and mental health challenges faced by women during and after menopause, with emphasis On overall well-being.

The event was graced by Th Tiningpham Monsang, chairperson, MSCW, along with Sk Sophia Moyon, member MSCW; Tuithung Ngamreichan, proprietor of Amazing Grace Mission School; and Tuithung Wungnaoyo, chairman, Wanglee Market, as presidium members.
More than 150 women and girls attended the programme.
Following the programme, a health camp was organised with the support of the Chief Medical Officer's staff, Kamjong, where basic medical services, including vaccinations and first-aid medicines, were provided.
Sanitary pads were also distributed to all participants.
