AMLAA celebrates 28th Foundation Day

All Manipur Lady Advocates' Association (AMLAA) celebrated its 28th Foundation Day at Cheirap Court Complex, Imphal today.
The celebration was graced by dignitaries, including Justice A Bimol Singh, Judge, High Court of Manipur; Justice A Guneshwar Sharma, Judge, High Court of Manipur; Justice Golmei Gaiphulshillu, Director, Manipur Judicial Academy; Ch Bimolchandra Singh, President, All Manipur Bar Association; and Ch Kiranbala Chanu, President, AMLAA.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice A Bimol said, "Today's celebration is not merely a marker of time.
Today we are celebrating the courage, dedication, and hard work of all the women advocates who have used the law to protect and serve their community in Manipur".
He lauded AMLAA for its remarkable growth and service while adding that the association has about 180 members presently, providing vital legal service to the people of the State.
He asserted that the leadership of AMLAA has done significant work by providing a platform to women advocates, preserving the dignity & identity of the legal profession, and contributing considerably to the justice delivery system.
Justice A Bimol further expressed hope that the women advocates will continue to work earnestly to ensure justice is delivered to the people, especially the weaker sections of the society and to showcase the constitutional values.
As part of the celebration, the gathering observed two-minute silence and offered floral tributes to the deceased members of AMLAA.
Felicitation of founder office bearers of AMLAA and releasing of a souvenir were the other highlights of the event.
