ZSUD hosts Seminar / Career Exploration Day

Imphal, July 21 2025: The Zeliangrong Students' Union Delhi (ZSUD) successfully organized a Seminar cum Career Exploration Day, aimed at inspiring and empowering students through informative sessions and interactive discussions.

According to a release issued by the ZSUD, the event brought together a distinguished panel of professionals from diverse fields, who engaged with students on topics critical to academic growth, mental wellness, career preparation, and civic awareness.

The programme began with an opening prayer led by Caleb Mpamei and a welcome address by Janet Riamei, president of ZSUD.

It was moderated by Siraliu Nring and Saulule Riame.

The seminar included expert talks by Wairokpam Punshiba Singh, IAS on the topic "Competitive Exams"; Sh Sumit Aggarwal, Deputy Director DHTI on "Finance Education"; Gaichangpou Gangmei, AOR Supreme Court of India on "Legal Awareness"; Dr Avitoli G Zhimo, Associate Prof DU on "Academics"; Dr Arnab Datta, SR Dept of Psychiatry AIIMS on "Mental Health Awareness" and Comandant Ronal Gangmei, Joint Director of Air Staff CGHQ on "Armed Forces as Career" .

The programme also features musical performances by Ejaple Pame and Witamsinbou Chawang, adding a vibrant artistic touch and a balanced interlude to the knowledge-intensive sessions.

Apart from it, another key segment of the programme was the debate competition that was judged by Dr Achingliu Kamei, Asst Professor ARSD, DU; Sinchuilung Gangmei, Asst Prof, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, DU and Dr Hainuebe Newme, Ph.D, JNU .

The Seminar cum Career Exploration Day underscored the Unions' dedication to nurturing informed, confident, and career-oriented individuals within the student community.

Through these initiatives, the Union continues its mission to bridge education, awareness, and action-building strong pathways for student success, says the ZSUD .
