Imphal, October 20 2025: A 1-day workshop on "The Modality of Performance Assessment, Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development (PARAKH)"was held at the multipurpose hall of Maharaja Bodhchandra College, Konung Mamang on October 17.The workshop was jointly organised by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur and PARAKH, NCERT, New Delhi.

The workshop aimed to develop a cadre of resource persons to support the implementation of PARAKH's key initiatives, including the framing of competency-based balanced question papers, the use of the Integrated Test Management System (ITMS), and the development of Holistic Progress Cards.

The event was graced by Prof Indrani Bhaduri, CEO & Head, PARAKH, NCERT, New Delhi, who delivered the keynote address highlighting PARAKH's initiatives to transform the examination system in alignment with the NEP 2020, and to ensure equivalence among school boards across India.

Takhellambam Ojit Singh, Chairman, COHSEM; Kh Ashikumar, Secretary, COHSEM; Oinam Joy Singh, Controller of Examinations, COHSEM; Prof Kh Dineshkumar Singh, DM College of Teacher Education Manipur; Prof N Sanjoy Singh, Principal, Liberal College; and Ngangbam Nilakantha Singh, Section Officer (IT), COHSEM also attended the workshop as resource persons.

The workshop witnessed the participation of over 200 participants.
