Diamond TV, Wahong Radio extend aid to cancer patient

Khongjom, June 19 2025: The Donor's group of Diamond TV and Wahong Radio have extended monetary aid to the tune of Rs 50,000 to Diamond Donor's member Mayanglambam Dheina Devi, d/o M Heiton Singh ofKakching Paji Leikai, who has been suffering from cancer and is undergoing treatment.

Speaking in this connection, Diamond TV and Wahong Radio, Managing Director James Heigrujam stated that Mayanglambam Dheina, who is also a member of the Donor's group had always taken lead initiative in extending support to the underprivileged by contributing Rs 100 every month to the group by making incense sticks.

On hearing the tragic news of Dheina, the team of Meitei Nongsha, CRPF second-in command, Wangkheimayum Nandini, OC Seram Suresh, Donor member Priyadarshini and the viewers of Diamond TV, listeners of Wahong TV pooled the money for her, said James Heigrujam.
