Shanglen inaugurated

Imphal, June 18 2025: Khurai Assembly Constituency MLA L Susindroon Wednesday inaugurated a "Ipa Ibungo Puthiba, Sanou Emba Ima Emeba Thambal Angangbi, Ema Ebema Nongmailema, Mapari Ebungo Nawa Khori Phaba, Mamou Ebema Chaingleima Shanglen" at Khurai.

Additionally, the MLA also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a new Temple of "Ipa Ibungo Puthiba, Sanou Emba Ima Emeba Thambal Angangbi, Ema Ebema Nongmailema, Mapari Ebungo Nawa Khori Phaba, Mamou Ebema Chaingleima Shanglen".

Speaking at the event, L Susindro said that the "Ipa Ibungo Puthiba, Sanou Emba Ima Emeba Thambal Angangbi, Ema Ebema Nongmailema, Mapari Ebungo Nawa Khori Phaba, Mamou Ebema Chaingleima Shanglen" was constructed from his own pocket.

Highlighting that he has been saving money to construct/rebuild Temples, Shanglen and other sites of significant importance to the Meiteis, the MLA said that the Temple of "Ipa Ibungo Puthiba, Sanou Emba Ima Emeba Thambal Angangbi, Ema Ebema Nongmailema, Mapari Ebungo Nawa Khori Phaba, Mamou Ebema Chaingleima Shanglen" will also be constructed from the same fund.

"As a Meitei, I have no hesitation in sacrificing for the community", said L Susindro while adding that he will strive to complete the Temple's construction work as soon as possible.
