Sainik School Imphal receives pool tables from 26th Batch Alumni

Imphal, January 18 2026: In a significant development, the 26th batch of ex-cadets of Sainik School Imphal donated four pool tables to their alma mater.

As per a release issued by Sainik School Imphal, the ceremony was held at Tagore House of the school, with Dr Mayengbam Veto Singh, Director, Youth Affairs & Sports (YAS), Government of Manipur, inaugurating the facility as the chief guest.

Dr Veto Singh appreciated the school's role in nationbuilding and thanked the '26th Souls' for the donation, emphasizing that playing pool would enhance strategic planning skills, benefiting the cadets in their future endeavors.

He also promised additional sporting facilities for the school next financial year.

Principal Col A Rajiv extended his gratitude to Dr Veto Singh for his precious time and presented a token of remembrance.

He also expressed his gratitude to the '26th Souls' and exuded confidence in garnering more assistance from the ex-cadets to their alma mater in the years to come.

Wangkhem Gokul, president of Sainik School Imphal Alumni Association (SSIAA), thanked the Principal for reconnecting with alumni and announced more equipment donations.

The event was attended by officers, staff, cadets, and alumni, marking a milestone in the school's history.
