Training programme under RAMP launched at Tamenglong

Tamenglong, September 13 2025: A three-day capacity building training programme on eco-tourism was launched at Tamenglong HQ today.

The training programme which will be conducted from September 13 to September 16 is being conducted by Tamenglong Forest Division under the aegis of Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme.

The launching event was attended by DFO, Tamenglong Kharibam Hitler Singh and Range Forest Officers Joel Gangmei, Khundrakpam Johnson and A Promeshwor Singh.

Meanwhile, Sangbuanliu Gonmei, MSc Geo Informatics and Diploma in Tourism was the resource person of the function.

A total of 27 trainees, consisting of 7 women and 20 men, are taking part in this training programme.

The programme aims to boost the eco-tourism sector in Tamenglong district.

The district is blessed with various natural beauty such as Buning Meadow, Tharon Cave, Khukpanglang Cave, Keikao Arai Bat Cave, Barak Waterfalls, Chiuluan Reangan, Dailong Biodiversity Heritage site etc .
