Motivational talk, legal education programme held

Imphal, July 11 2025: Bar Council of Manipur organised a legal education programme at the office of All Manipur Lady Advocates' Association (AMLAA) in Cheirap Court Complex, Imphal today.

The legal education programme for legal practitioners was graced by dignitaries, including Senior Advocate Sarangthem Brajabihari, chairman, Bar Council of Manipur; Senior Advocate Chakpram Bimolchandra, president, All Manipur Bar Association; and Advocate Chanambam Kiranbala Chanu, president, AMLAA.

During the programme, Advocate Heikrujam Ranabati, secretary AMLAA, delivered the welcome address while Advocate Koijam Modhusana, chairman, Legal Aid and Legal Education Committee, Bar Council of Manipur gave the keynote address.

Advocate Dr Chongtham Narendra also enlightened the gathering on the topic, "Professional Ethics".

Meanwhile, on the occasion of National Students' Day and the 77th Foundation Day of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the ABVP Imphal College Unit organised a Motivational Talk at Imphal College on Wednesday.

The programme was graced by Khumanthem Diana Devi, Director, Transport Department; Gautam Philem, state secretary, ABVP Manipur; and Prof M Chandra, Principal, Imphal College as presidium members.

At the event, Kh Diana delivered an inspiring talk on career motivation.

She encouraged the students to stay focused on their goals and shared valuable guidance on.

Speaking on the importance of students' welfare, Prof M Chandra shared that the college is committed to supporting students in every possible way to help them succeed in academics and life.

The event witnessed the participation of over 100 students, who actively listened and interacted with the speakers.
