Imphal, October 10 2013 : The 36th rising day of the People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) was celebrated with all sections of the people across the State.

The occasion was also celebrated by diasporas outside Kangleipak with grandeur.

The outfit's 36th Rising Day was celebrated at its Central Headquarters, General Headquarters, Tactical headquarters, unit headquarters, transit camps and training centres, informed a statement issued by Asst Secretary, Publicity and Propaganda of PREPAK, LeibakNgakpa Luwang.

The party's general secretary set the celebration programme into motion at the CHQs by unfurling the outfit's seven-colour flag.

Briefing at the occasion, he also infused a sense of renewed vigour to its officers and cadres.

The Dy CAS unfurled the outfit's flag to kickoff the celebration at its GHQs.

Revolutionary gun salute was also paid to departed compatriots besides observing two minutes silence.

Greeting messages from the party chairman and CAS were read out to the cadres.

Nearby villagers have also joined the celebration programme, it said.

It also pledged to carry on the revolutionary movement till the goal is achieved in conformity with the sentiment of the people with renewed dedication to the people and the movement.

The outfit also thanked all concerned for the success of the rising day celebration programme.
