Imphal, June 06 2025: Singjamei AC MLA Y Khemchand, Mayang Imphal AC MLA K Robindro and Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee president K Meghachandra have conveyed their greetings to the Meitei Pangal community on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha or Bakrid Eid.

In his message, Khemchand appealed that on the occasion of Bakrid Eid, people come together in prayer, seeking divine blessings to foster a sense of brotherhood among all communities in Manipur, and for lasting peace to prevail, enabling overall progress and welfare for the state's residents.

K Robindro, on the other hand, said that the significances of Eid-al-Adha are charity, social gatherings, festive meals and gift giving and the festival has a clear message of devotion, kindness and equality.

K Meghachandra also extended his greetings and prayed for the festival to usher in peace, development, and prosperity in Manipur.

Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur; All Manipur Meitei Pangal Clubs' Organisation (AMMPACO), Democratic People's Front (DPF) and Manipur Federal Organisation (MFO) too extended their greetings to the Meitei Pangal community on the occasion.
