Jiribam, September 02 2024: Representatives of All Jiribam United Fish Farmers Association (AJUFFA) have urged the relevant authority to monitor the condition of the largest fish farm in Jiribam district at Kuthi Khong.

The AJUFFA representatives including M Romeo Singh, executive body member and advisor and M Bhupen Singh, president, AJUFFA met with Fishery Officer M Manichand at the Fishery Department office in Dibong Khunou to discuss various pertinent matters related to fish farming.

During the meeting, the two parties deliberated over proper handling, outreach and implementation of Government schemes and other related opportunities for the development of fish farmers in the district.

Meanwhile, AJUFFA president M Bhupen Singh said that the Fishery Officer had assured to extend all possible help for the upliftment of fish farmers in the district including providing training programmes.

Expressing gratitude to Fishery Officer M Manichand, M Bhupen further urged the concerned authority to keep an eye on the largest fish farm in Jiribam district at Kuthi Khong.
