MLA Noorul Hassan visits fire-affected families in Moreh, extends relief assistance

MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan visited the fire-ravaged locality of Muslim Basti in Moreh, where a massive blaze on October 25 reduced around 11 houses to ashes and partially damaged seven others, leaving nearly 18 families homeless.
The fire, suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit, spread rapidly through the densely populated area near the Indo-Myanmar border.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
During his visit, MLA Hassan personally inspected the affected site and extended immediate assistance to help meet the urgent needs of the victims.
He assured the affected families that all possible support would be provided and stated that he would apprise the Governor in Council and the Chief Secretary of the situation to seek additional aid for rehabilitation.
As part of his visit, the MLA also inaugurated the newly constructed gate of Jama Masjid, Moreh, which he had donated.
He later held a meeting with the Moreh Manipuri Muslim Council to discuss additional relief measures and long-term community development initiatives.
Reaffirming his commitment, MLA Sheikh Noorul Hassan assured continued support for the people of Moreh during times of crisis and pledged to ensure timely relief and rehabilitation for all those affected by the tragic incident.
