District-level painting competition held at KM Blooming School

Imphal, March 31 2026: Khangabok Development Society (KDS), in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Thoubal, organised a district-level spot painting competition on Tuesday at KM Blooming Higher Secondary School, Khangabok.

The competition, conducted for students of VII to X, was held under the initiative of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA).

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Khundrakpam Menjor Mangang, chairman of KM Blooming Hr Sec School as chief guest; Khundrakpam Sankar, vice-president of KDS as functional president; and Laishram Lenin sub-editor of Sangai Express as guest of honour.

As part of the programme, Thokchom Bishworjit, Advocate, delivered a talk highlighting the key aspects of the "Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006" .

In the competition, Khundrakpam Mangalngamba of Eastern Star Hr Sec School, Khangabok secured the first position.

Chingkheinganbi Ningthoujam of KM Blooming Hr Sec School, bagged the second position; while L Jenibala of KM Blooming Hr Sec School secured the third position.

Consolation prizes were also awarded to seven students.
