Imphal, October 29 2019:
Lok Janata Dal (United) Manipur State unit chief general secretary Maisnam Dorendro has conveyed that an 18 member team of the party has left Imphal today to pressure the National leaders against any attempt to harm the integrity of Manipur following the Naga peace talks.
Speaking to media persons at the party's office in New Chekkon road, Maisnam Dorendro continued that the 18 member team of the party will pressure the National leaders of Janata Dal (United) at New Delhi against any impact on the State's integrity in the conclusion of the Naga peace talks, on October 31 .

He further stated that an all India National Council meeting of Janata Dal (United) will be held on October 30 at New Delhi and added that National leaders and MPs will take part in the said meeting.
The representatives of Janata Dal (United) Manipur State unit will be highlighting the present situation of the ongoing peace talks and its following conclusion which may harm the integrity of the State to the party's National president Nitish Kumar along with other MPs, who will be present at the meeting, he added.
M Dorendro further maintained that the State's representatives will press the matter to the leaders and urge against any attempt to affect the integrity of the State.
He continued that since there is a slim chance for the State's representatives of Janata Dal (United) to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, the matter will be brought up to the party's National leaders and MPs so that they can approach the PM and Union Home Minister as JD(U) has been a part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) since its formation.
Dorendro remarked that the earlier "peace talks" between the India Government and NSCN-IM has caused violence and unrest and cautioned that the people of Manipur will never allow the conclusion of the peace talk to cause any harm, suffering or similar unrest to the State and more importantly to the State's integrity.
He further cautioned that if the Central Government ignores the matter and goes against the people of Manipur then a rather dangerous crisis, more critical than June 18 will erupt in Manipur.
