KCP activists held

A combined team of Imphal West district police commandos and troops of 18 Sikh Regiment has reportedly apprehended an active member of KCP-MC (Lanchenbi group) from Upokpi area on May 31 afternoon.
Identifying the captive as Laishram Mocha alias Momocha alias Lenmang Chongloi (23) s/o N Joy of Moirang Thoya Mamang Leikai, a statement issued by SP (IW) said that one 9 mm pistol has been recovered from the individual's possession.
Meanwhile, another KCP-MC activist identified as Khagembam amarjit Singh alias Amitra alias Netrajit alias Nongdrenkhomba s/o Kh Indrajit Singh from Moirang Khunou but presently a resident of Chingmeirong Mamang Leikai has been arrested from Chingmeirong Mamang Leikai at around 2 pm today.
The SP's statement maintained that Amarjit, arrested by police commandos of Imphal West district, is the self-styled chief in-command of KCP-MC.
