Imphal, December 29 2025: The All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) has conveyed heartfelt wishes to the Zeliangrong community in Manipur, Nagaland and Assam ahead of the Gaan-Ngai festival, which falls on January 1, 2026 .

A press release issued by Heisnam Phoren Mangang, AMUCO secretary publicity said that Gaan-Ngai is a post harvest festival where the community shows their gratitude to the creator Tingkao Ragwang for a good harvest and offer prayers for prosperity and progress.

With the coming of Gaan-Ngai festival, AMUCO has expressed hope for safe resettlement of the IDPs and harmonious coexistence among different communities in the State of Manipur.
