"Yuva Shakti, Bharat's Shakti" pledge ceremony held at RAUS

Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), located in Peenya, Bengaluru, launched the national campaign "Yuva Shakti, Bharat's Shakti" in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
As per a release issued by RAUS, thousands of students took a solemn pledge to contribute meaningfully to the Nation, reaffirming their commitment to India's development Speaking on the occasion, RUAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Kuldeep Kumar Raina expressed pride in being the only university from Karnataka chosen among five institutions across the country for this initiative.
"It is a matter of great honor that our university was selected for this prestigious campaign.
Over 5,000 of our students have participated and pledged to play a vital role in the development of our nation", he added.
Prof Raina said that the participation of students in such a large number reflects the university's strong belief that young citizens will contribute sincerely towards nationbuilding.
"Our students today have pledged to be an integral part of building a progressive India.
We have full faith in their dedication and intent", he added.
Referring to the recent Operation Sindhura, Prof Raina said it was a moment of pride for the entire nation and emphasized that "we must never forget our mother and motherland".
He lauded the students for pledging themselves to various causes including economic development and social security, showcasing their readiness to take responsibility for India's future.
He also highlighted that national initiatives like Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, and Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Yuva Shakti, Bharat's Shakti, are crucial steps towards building a stronger and self-reliant India.
