ANSAM welcomes Muivah

The All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has welcomed the visit of Th Muivah, Ato Kilonser, GPRN to Senapati district headquarters by unfurling the Naga National flag at its office, reaffirming it's position to support the framework agreement, recognizing flag and constitution.
During the event, Angteshang Maring, ANSAM president, stated that with hearts burning with pride and spirits anchored in purpose, the Naga youths and students of Manipur on behalf of the ANSAM office and its units rise in unity to warmly welcome the most revered leader, Thuingaleng Muivah, as he returns home to his native village of Somdal and to Senapati District Headquarters, Tahamzam, from 22-29 October 2025, after five long decades.
On his return to his roots, the student body declared their welcome for the man 'whose life has been a testament to sacrifice, courage, and unbreakable conviction for the Naga Nation' .
Through the storms of exile and the trials of time, he has carried the hopes of people who refused to be forgotten - the hopes of a nation bom not put of fear, but of faith and destiny, ANSAM president stated.
The ANSAM president declared, "To every Naga youth and every student across our Naga homeland, this is your moment.
Come forward.
Stand tall.
Be part of history" .
He urged the people to gather as one people, under one flag, under one constitution and one destiny, to honour the man who has given his life for Naga nation's future.
"Let the hills echo with unity.
Let our voices proclaim our loyalty.
For the Naga Nation lives-and will live forever," he mentioned.
