HLYC felicitates meritorious students, achievers in Oinam AC

Moirang, July 27 2026: The Heinoubok Loyalakpa Youth Club (HLYC) organised a felicitation ceremony at Heinoubok Community Hall to honour meritorious students of Oinam Assembly Constituency who ex-celled in the ClassX and XII examinations, along with sportspersons who won gold medals in various sporting events.

The programme was attended by HLYC president M Biramani, BJP Kisan Morcha national secretary Khumukcham Jibon and village elders.

During the event students who secured outstanding marks in the Class X and XII examinations and sportspersons who achieved distinction in various fields were felicitated with gifts in recognition of their accomplishments.

Speaking on the occasion, Khumukcham Jibon called for unity among all communities to build a peaceful and prosperous society.

He said that if people focus only on their respective communities, they may lose sight of the larger identity and existence of Manipur as a state.

Referring to the challenges faced by the State over the past three years, including violence and loss of lives, he appealed to all communities to come together and work collectively for peace and progress.

Jibon also urged the people to have faith in the present government led by Chief Minister Y Khemchand and work towards building a better future.

He stressed that students have an important role in shaping a good society and called for nurturing a new generation of capable leaders who can guide society towards a better path.
