Jojo Robertson leads plantation drive at Ashang Khullen

Kamjong, July 25 2026: Environmental activist Jojo Robertson, as part of his ongoing environmental awareness campaign, led another mass tree plantation drive at Ashang Khullen village on Saturday, with around 200 saplings planted with active participation from local residents.

The plantation drive followed an earlier initiative on July 20, during which around 400 saplings were planted in the village.

Speaking on the occasion, Jojo Robertson said the initiative was being successfully carried out following requests from villagers and their keen interest in environmental conservation.

He also noted that the availability of vast areas of land had helped facilitate the plantation drive.

He stressed that tree plantation and forest conservation are among the most effective ways to combat global warming and address changing rainfall patterns and climate change.

Robertson expressed gratitude to the residents of Ashang Khullen for their wholehearted support and active participation in the initiative.
