Seva Pakhwada begins with cleanliness drive at INA HQ Moirang

Moirang, September 18 2025: As part of the Seva Pakhwada celebrations commemorating the 75th birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP Manipur Pradesh launched a cleanliness drive at the historic INA Headquarters, Moirang Kongjengbam Leikai.

The programme was led by BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda Devi along with several party leaders andmembers.

The event witnessed the presence of BJP Manipur Pradesh president, A Sharda Devi; BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson, M Asnikumar Singh; Swachh Bharat Abhiyan BJP Manipur Pradesh in-charge and State secretary M Dilip; along with other key members of BJP Manipur Pradesh and BJP Mandal Bishnupur.

Speaking on the occasion, A Sharda Devi stated that the event was launched as part of the 75th birth anniversary celebrations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and will continue till October 2, Gandhi Jayanti.

She further informed that the fortnight-long programme had plans to feature events like Swacch Bharat, Viksit Bharat, painting competition for children, health camp and various other initiatives aligned with the Prime Minister's vision of serving people.

However, given the current flood situation in Manipur, the party had decided to cut short some events and focus only on essential programmes such as blood donation, health camps, Swachh Bharat activities, and special relief measures for flood affected families, said Sharda.

BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson M Ashnikumar highlighted that the celebration of Seva Pakhwada from the INA Headquarters holds great significance, as it not only honours the INA's contribution to India's freedom struggle but also reaffirms the Prime Minister's vision of service and dedication to the people.
